Stewart Addison the DP, director, producer, editor and colourist.

Stewart studied photography for five years (35mm) from his teenage years, built a dark room, printed thousands of photographs and developed an advanced understanding of photography, cinematography, film, video and the moving image..

He has been working freelance for several years working on corporate films/TV advertisements/short films and music videos that have been broadcast on TV in the UK, North America and India. Stewart also works as a freelance producer, editor, colourist and director, he is also the managing director of a two camera hire companies. He has become a DP to be reckoned with and loves his work! Stewart has recently directed several TV commercials and short films (currently at film festivals). Stewart was a judge at the 2011 2 Weeks 2 Make It competition.

Stewart gets emotional when talking about: Stanley Kubrick, David Lynch, the Coen brothers, Massive Attack, Morrissey and Marr..

LOCATION: TORONTO, CANADA

Jazz Virk is an award winning, internationally acclaimed music video director. Jazz has over ten years of professional experience in film and television, ranging from TV commercials, music videos, TV magazine shows, documentaries and films projects.

Jazz has worked with such artists as Nelly Furtado, Jazzy B, Ghetto Concept, Choclair, Sonu Nigam, Gunjan from Thievery Corporation, Babbu Mann, Aman Hayer, Jaz Dhami, Jassi Sidhu, Rishi Rich Project, Veronica, Hunterz, Charlene and Slarta John from Basement Jaxx.

LOCATION: BIRMINGHAM & LONDON, UK

Brendan O’Neill is a Birmingham, UK based writer, producer and director with a range of projects in development from animation through to comedy, social realism, horror, Sci-Fi and so on. He has recently been selected for the 2011 Regional Producer Mentoring Scheme run by Screen West Midlands and Producers’ Forum West Midlands. He will be mentored by Nottingham based producer Rachel Robey of Wellington Films (London to Brighton, Better Things).

In 2010 his Stickleback Production’s team won the inaugural Birmingham edition of the 2 Weeks 2 Make It music video competition. He was also selected for the Royal Court Theatre’s Critical Mass playwriting scheme and is now writing a play for their consideration. He has been published widely as a poet in various newspapers, magazines and journals worldwide and is a full member of the Writers Guild of Great Britain.

LOCATION: TORONTO, CANADA

Scott Douglas began his career in early 2007 when he became the resident editor for Avia Productions Inc. (Toronto, Canada) the in-house production division for Dynasty Advertising and Communications, arguably Toronto’s top multi-cultural ad agency.

Scott has worked on television commercials for clients such as Rogers, Bell, Tridel, RBC, Smuckers, and Unilever.  It was there that he met Jazz Virk, they’ve worked on multiple award winning TV commercials for Rogers Telecommunications Bollywood campaign.

Scott Douglas has had a busy five year career, managing to put together an impressive body of work as an editor, compositor, motion graphics designer, colourist and director.

As a freelancer Scott was part of the creative team and editor on the award winning 48 Hour short film challenge ‘blur’ (Jazz Virk in the directors chair).  Scott has also worked on several short films, film trailers, and promotional projects for clients such as Random House, The Luminato Festival, and Shoppers Drug Mart.

Michelle Hands is the most recent addition to the Film Division Team. Michelle started out in the industry as an actress and has attended the infamous New York Film Academy in Los Angeles. Since her initial training Michelle has starred in several films, one of which (“Reclaimed”) being showcased at the New York Horror Film Festival in 2010.

Michelle has recently become engrossed in the film making process and strives to learn more about what happens behind the camera. She is now focusing on producing and in the future hopes to take on a directorial role.

LOCATION: BIRMINGHAM & LONDON, UK

Adam Hale is a freelance photographer, DP, editor and colourist.

Freelance since 2006, Adam is an experienced studio, architectural, and reportage photographer; specialising in interiors, performer head shots, location and unit stills. As a videographer, Adam has worked on various projects throughout the UK for over 10 years, with credits for Cam-Op, DP, and Post Production. He is also a qualified FE teacher, and has lectured photography (digital and traditional), video production, and film studies at BMETCHereward College, and NEW College Swindon.

From first studying video production in the 90′s, using tape decks, he produced his first corporate promo before finishing university in 2003. Adam now shoots on a number of different formats, and manages post production in both Apple and Adobe systems – producing corporate, EPK, promo, filmshorts, HD broadcast, and 4K digital film.

In other projects, he has operated main camera on a feature with Caleb Lindsey of “Understanding Jane”, and AD’d on a feature film called “Not For Twos” directed by Steve Norris.
